Dr. Javier Pulido Cejudo

Javier Pulido Cejudo studied mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences of the UNAM and received a doctorate, also in mathematics, from Princeton University in the United States.
His research work is in the area of dynamical systems. He has made applications of mathematics in several areas such as biology and education, has written several articles research, dissemination and conferences both his work and dissemination of mathematics and its applications. He has participated in organizing various academic events both domestically and internationally.
He has worked as an teacher assistant at Princeton University, in the Faculty of UNAM as a research professor, where he reached the rank of professor B, made models of fisheries at the School of Marine Sciences at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa; Sao Carlos campus of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, was a researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science and was a visiting professor at the University of Havana in Cuba.
Since 1993 he has worked at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, initially was on the campus of Mexico City where he was classified as a full professor.
Since 2001, he has been on Campus Santa Fe where he has been the Director of the Division of Engineering.

Dr. Raul Ramirez-Velarde

Raul Ramirez-Velarde finished a Chemical & Industrial Engineering degree in May de 1988 at Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Campus Monterrey, Mexico. He finished a Master Degree on Science with specialty in Computer Science in July 1991. He has been full time professor at ITESM since August de 1991. He reached Associate Professor Level in 2003. He finished a Ph.D. degree at ITESM in February 2004 in Information Technology with specialty in Multimedia Distributed Systems.
At the moment, Raul Ramirez is involved in research on modeling, analysis and design of video servers as part of the ITESM's Chair on Stereoscopic Video, on high-performance open service-oriented architectures modeling and security as part of ITESM's Chair on Information Security, and research on educational technology as part of the E-LANE project (An @LIS European Aid Initiative).
